This hundred bedroom hotel sits on a steeply sloping site on the edge of Polanica Zdroj, one of Poland’s principle spa towns, surrounded by woodlands.  The hotel has a number of large spa pools and a whole floor dedicated to a range of therapies.  The principle entry floor plan provides accommodation for restaurants, ballroom, club room and bar.  The bedrooms have disabled access and are designed economically either side of a central corridor to take advantage of natural sunlight.  Externally the building has a classical feeling, whilst working within a modern architectural language.  Stone and render are used in collaged layers under a widely over hanging copper clad roof.
