Commercial Units, Napton

Live- Work Development, Napton on the Hill, Warwickshire

 

In the live-work development at Napton on the Hill, each of the residential properties was designed to have a stand-alone commercial unit at the bottom of the garden.  These units accommodate 6 to 8 workers accessed by a private commercial road.  Each unit has private car parking and a walled courtyard space that is quite separate to the family garden.  The commercial roads were designed to have a mews character to distinguish them from the residential roads serving the fronts of the houses and were modelled on the nineteenth century developments in Royal Leamington Spa.
