Peter Skerrett

Senior Partner
Peter Skerrett is a senior partner in the Humane Architecture Workshop, and along with Frank Lyons, leads the practice in its design output.
Prior to his career in architecture, Peter was an artist and theatre designer, he was nominated 'Designer of the Year' by the Manchester Guardian for his work at the Oldham Coliseum Theatre,and his artwork was selected for the South West Arts Prize for Painting. His talent for design extended to his student architectural work, which was nominated for the RIBA President's Silver Medal. Peter worked in practice for seven years before setting up on his own in 1997. When Peter won the RIBA National Country House Competition with Frank Lyons in 2000, they joined forces to form the Humane Architecture Workshop.
