Frank Lyons MPhil Dip Arch(Dist) RIBA
Frank Lyons is Director of Humane Architecture he gives direction and leadership to the practice and takes a leading role in project designs.
Frank graduated at the Brighton School of Architecture having been awarded the RIBA National Student Design Prize (RIBA President’s Silver Medal) for his final year diploma project. Frank has won a number of awards for his work.
Frank has taught extensively, he was formerly Principal Lecturer, Director of Programmes and Graduate Diploma Programme manager at the University of Plymouth’s School of Architecture. He led the Zen Design Studio in the Graduate Diploma Programme and in 1994 created the Post-graduate Diploma course entitled ‘Humane Architecture’. The ideas developed in this course have become the basic philosophy of the Plymouth ‘Humane Architecture’ office. For further information see our sustainable architecture pages.
